On January 8th 2009 the University of Pennsylvania and Tsinghua University announced an agreement to increase their current academic and research collaborations. I came across this perfect example of research collaboration in a Web 2.0 environment. This discussion shows that virtual tools are cost effective and useful across the world. Often travel is cost prohibitive, but with electronic media communication, our collaboration can be inclusive.
